Booneville City Officials

 John Christopher Lindley was born on October 30, 1971 To Johnny and Debra Lindley of Booneville, MS. He has one brother Kevin Lindley. Mayor Lindley said he began work for his father at age 10. He was educated in the Prentiss County Schools system and graduated from New Site High School.  He obtained an Associates at Northeast MS Community College.  Mayor Lindley is currently owner and operator of Lindley Pest Control, Inc. 

 

     In 1989, He met Miss Sherry George. They were married in September 28, 1991. Mrs. Sherri Lindley is a Regional Director for North MS Medical Clinic in Tupelo, MS. They have two children, Grant (age 25) and Cristyn (age 15) Lindley.  In 2017, he ran for mayor for the City of Booneville and won. He took office in June 2017 with family, friends and the newly elected Booneville Board of Aldermen by his side. Mayor Lindley is a hardworking, God Fearing husband, father and business leader. His day consist of overseeing the daily operations for the City of Booneville.  

 

     He is striving to renovate and renew the face of Booneville, with several projects in the works that will bring new businesses and visitors to the area for years to come. His office is decorated with the things he loves the most; a bible, pictures of his wife and family and the colors of his beloved country and home, the United States of America.
